got my RB25DET!!! YAY!!!!!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!! I GOT MY RB25DET FRONT CLIP!! Check this out, I called my mechanic to get a price quote on how much it'd cost for his help, and he was like "oh, I have an R34 RB25det if you want it for 4,100" I was like "oooo!!" lol... saves me the trouble of searching around and paying for shipping and worrying bout the motor getting messed up... do u think this is a good price for the front clip?

well, since you dont have to pay for shipping and you can check it out personally it doesnt seem to be too bad...you can find them cheaper, but sometimes locally and hands on is worth the extra bills.

I would bring it back to $3500 or so if local....pay in cash. R34's...never done a conversion with one....might wanna check on the wiring too, see how complex it is.

my mechanic is doing the swap for me tho, he told me he's done a couple before.. I trust him tho... lol he's been my mechanic for 2 years now and hella more years for a few of my friends.. I think it's worth paying a little more since he always gives me discounts, esp. when i had my integra and he knew my wallet was tight

That is not too bad of a price since it is from an R34. All other RB's come from the R33. But try to talk him down to like 3900 to 3500. Good luck with the swap

eh, i don't that's too bad coming from an R34. that would mean that it's atleast a '99 or newer. hopefully, compression is good and mileage is low. and i would still try to talk him down from there, too.

that's true. the R34 GT-R was the FIRST 6 speed Skyline/GT-R. Nissan and Getrag collaborated on it.
