downpipe help

First off, does an aftermarket downpipe (more specifically Greddy) remove my cat? or does it bolt to the turbo outlet and my cat? Also, are there any downpipes that have the turbo outlet connected, so its all one piece? i want a full turbo back exhaust and i just need a little help figuring those things out. Thanks for the help.

no it doesnt replace your cat. like you said it bolts to the turbo extension and to your car. yes there are companies that make a turbo extension/down pipe combo but i have never seen them here in the states just in japan. maybe somebody on here knows of some here in the states.

Phase 2 is now selling a XS engineering downpipe that eliminates the cat. I wish they would have had that a year ago.

what size is the cat? I want to run and 3" turbo outlet (from option imports) to a 3" downpipe (Greddy) to the cat and then 3" exhaust (GP Sports). Also, does the down pipe have the O2 sensor? or is it in the turbo outlet? Does anyone know if the GP Sports downpipe eliminates the cat?

its very easy to get all parts necessary... i have greddy turbo outlet, downpipe, and i replaced the cat with a projectsilvia test pipe, all 80mm. i believe the outlet should have the o2 sensor fitting.
