the swap is pretty much the exact same difficulty as the sr swap. People have seen very high hp and trq numbers with the ca18det, but you need to think about what you would like to do with your car. Do you want to track it, drift it, drag it, street car?

I want about 275-300 Hp street and I might take it to the track or strip for some fun but only on the weekends, but if i do get a Ca or SR it is only a hold me over until I graduate college and buy an RB26dett. But for the remaining four years I really want a turbo motor, and I am not the typical poor college student, I work all the time so I have some spending money... just not much at the same time.

yea well if it is just to hold you over i say go ca18det cuz its so much cheaper, but you wont be impressed with it stock you will need to mod right away to feel a strong motor

Well how expensive are those wheels? I got mine for $350. Have you run into any problems with your CA install and do you have a wiring diagram for the correct wiring harness to help out? how long did it take for you to get your clip? thank you for being so helpful.

aim is the easit way to talk about this
