RB

I sell RB20DET clips for $2250 and RB25DET clips for $3250. They all bolt right up.

Some can also be purchased with drivleline and full rear suspension for an extra $300.

according to many many shops the rb swap into a 240 requires alot of cutting, and custom mounts. all said and done an rb25 installed runs 8k! 8 k for 250 hp? thanks but no thanks i can have an 11 second sr for that money! unless you know something i dont!

RB

Then I must know something you don't. My whole swap....RB25DET with stage 4 clutch and custom tubular driveline cost me less than $4000 including the engine. I did all my work myself instead of paying someone ($8,000 - $4,000) 4 grand to do it. I am not dumb enough to waste that kind of money.

You wanna know why shops like to say you need this custom or that custom??? It's cause they want money. You don't have to buy any custom mounts for the swap as long as you have the clip. Therefore, you just bolt right up. Cutting - definately....as with the SR20DET, you have to cut through a part in your engine bay to run intercooler piping.....hmm, difficult how anyone with a dremel can do this. 1 other thing to cut....hood re-inforecement above the intake tube....yeah, about 6" of re-inforcement cut that can't be seen from outside the car and doesn't affect anything.

And all said an done, my $4000 RB swap runs a 12 on stock boost....add the $4,000 dollars in parts that you would build onto your SR20DET and I would have a 9 second car instead of your measley 11's which I can run just by adjusting my boost level.

id need the wiring diagram, and why does everyone say you have to make your own mounts (b/c engine is longer)? i cant imagine its as simple as use the old ones! hey, maybe it is. asad (you know who he is) even says you gotta fabricate something crazy for mounting the engine. im just trying to get all the info i can b/c i am plenty serious about doing it.

PIX

Alright everyone, you wanted pics, here you go! This website is still under construction. Don't expect too many pics yet as I haven't added any of the swap, but they should be up this evening.

Enjoy!

rb's are illegal just like sr's and F*ck cameron he's a shyster..
and mounts are the way unless you wanna chop all kinds of stuff and take a 3lb hammer to your tunnel....

does the RB25 tranny bolt up with the stock 240 drive shaft?
I heard you need a new X-member and brackets to put this bad boy in, but youre saying just use existing brackets
