rebuilding my differential
well I have an s13 with an s14 axle swap and I have noticed a loud humming sound coming from my differential and I was going to get new carrier bearings and pinion bearings and I am having trouble finding some. does anyone have a good place to order bearings from? also what axle would I have? thank you.

axels are fine.. don't replace them unless you snap them. also......... you may be low on diff fluid. Start simple and then work your way up.
you may have to go directly to Nissan to order these OEM parts. Autozone etc... may be able to place the order for you... but I would not hold my pee.

I mean I have an s14 diff and axles. well this isn't my first time dealing with a rear end. I had the diff out 3 times now and from what sound it makes I was told it is more then likely the pinion bearing. it was ran low on oil, cause after I bought the car I changed the fluid and noticed a leak and after dropping the diff out I noticed a crack in my diff cover. so I just cleaned it up and welded the inside and outside.im thinking my race on my pinion bearings are pitted which is causing the hum. I have a book on s13s but not s14 so I have no clue which one it can be.
