Question HICAS opinion?

Ok, has anyone done a swap into a 240 w/ Super HICAS. I've read a lot of posts saying that no one likes it and it's bad for drifting etc, but I was wondering if anyone has done the swap and kept it in and actually enjoyed it. Personally, I love it with the KA. The only major draw back is that hardly any aftermarket struts or coilovers are mader for the HICAS rear subframe. If anyone knows how to get around this problem without removing HICAS, I would greatly appreciate the help. Or, would I just be better off sacrificing HICAS? Thanks a bunch. Oh, and I have searched around some to find similar threads/posts, but I haven't found what I'm looking for. So, if someone has already asked or answered this question, go easy on me, I'm new! hehe
Thanks again
Mike P

Oh, I almost forgot, I'm planning on using my car for auto-x, not drifting. So, would the HICAS system help me for this use?
thanks

good point, thanks for the help. Hey, have you done shocks/springs or coilovers upgrade? If so, did you have to swap out the whole HICAS rear subframe, or do the aftermarket suspension parts fit already? Thanks for the help. I like your sn by the way

If you plan on doing auto-x the hicas should help. I asked are local proformance shop "split Desisions" for his opinion on Hicas. He said if your running auto-x or a road course its good to have. but for drifting pull it out. So I would say give it a go if possible. If you don't like it then get rid of it.

yes that may be true but another reason he did that is because in the Z32 your need to remove hicas to upgrade the turbos, and with 600 Whp He deffinatley did so. I like HICAS and think that it would be sweet to have an sr20 hicas 240

really? this is sure news to me cause hicas is in the rear of the car.... and turbos arn't also he is using to hks GT series turbos they re still in te t2 family so even if hicas was in the front he wouldnt have to disable it

As stated before HICAS is useless.

Hicas is usually connected to the steering system away from turbos and in the rear so I dont understand where you go that info.

I got the info from Greddy and Jim WOlf Tech. Becuase one of my buddies owns a Z32 as weel and is going for high hp. Don't flame me! they said if you want bigger turbos you have to disable hicas. i will post exactly what they said later.
