To put in in a milder tone, the bolt pattern on the back of an engine and it's matching tranny are unique to that series of engine, the ka has an auto and manual option, those are the only trannys that'll fit. Why do you want a different tranny anyway?

i know the ecu has nothing to do with the fitment of the transmision but it's connected to the ecu for the 5th gear limiter and other sensors

the only reason is that i have the only s14 240sx here in Iceland so i will not be able to find a manual transmision here in iceland and was just wondering if i could use a transmison out some other car that i could find here in Iceland.
dont the 240sx and n/a 300zx shear the same auto?

pretty sure you can get an adaptor plate custom made to fit a small slection of other tranny units but youll prob need a custom drive shaft and other crap too.

not too sure on this info but i would think other datsuns and nissans that uses a ka or l-series might possibly share the same bell housing. check out z forums.

I dunno about that, but I don't know a whole lot about 300z's being as I'm new to nissans. You might wind up having to find a seller on ebay who can ship internationally and get ya what you need. Obviously not an optimal situation but that's what comes with owning a unique car.
