...
i spent a lot of money on my parts becasue i wanted to do it the right way and bought almost everything brand new and/or aftermarket performance parts, check my cardomain to see what, and if you're in the ny/nj area i can recommend the guy that did mine, great work for great prices, and as for this thread...no sticky mods???

quick question...
on the s13 i worked on last weeked, i swapped it from a auto to 5 spd without a hitch. I swapped in a newer ka that was a 5 spd
on the old motor, there was a huge bubble looking thing attatched to the flywheel, how does that come off? I really didn't examine it too hard since i was workin on the s13, but from the looks initially, it was attatched to the flywheel...
anyways any ideas would be great
and btw, the automatic crossmember is identical to the manual crossmember, you just flip the crossmember over and you're good to go-btw the rubber bushing stays in the same position, so you'll have to unbolt the bushing, flip the metal crossmember, and reassemble them and you're good

by the way, sizzzzooo, that "bubble" attached to the flywheel is the torque converter, theres a notch in the shaft coming out of it, use the notch to turn it/hold it while you remove the 5 ? maybe 6.... bolts holding it to the flywheel, be careful, that ***** is gonna swing down and around on the last bolt, it'll crush your skull.. heh.
