the issue is any event must be sanctioned by scca or similar organization. you must have safety crew blah blah blah.............. and people must get paid thats why its harder to just get an event up

 

really now didnt know that glad i have tire racks track to drift on. Ill do it the day they have auto cross.They can auto-x ill drift ;]

 

LOL man lots of auto x event now warn 240 owners LOL...

they say, "THIS IS NOT A DRIFT COURSE" alot of new ones also have mixed events... im driving in a mixed event in PA next month

 

Hey, Biggamehit, if you are trying to get something going around here, I would LOVE to be apart of it. I know down in Richmond there was this event that anyone could really enter, and it was around this Mall parking lot. I don't think it would hurt to get local buinesses to try and let us run around in their lots. It'll be some good times. Let me know what you come up with.

By the way, I'm in Woodbridge, not a far cry from MD. Anything NOVA/MD, I'm SO down. I know that Ft Belvior actually has a few open areas, it's just a matter of being able to get on base, and also being able to HOST something there. Haha.

 

yea..... i personaly have alot going on with my club that i run and the military, so ill just be driving at events already set for a while.. im very familar with woodbridge. i went to a few of the mega meets at the metro station.

 

Ah, I see. I'm going to try to become more locally active and see what I can get going.
