Subwoofer and Amp recommendations

I was going to do a search for this but realized how difficult that would be.

I'm looking for a sub and amp, but don't know what kind. I'm willing to spend around $200 for each of them maybe more, depending on my financial status in the next few paychecks. I don't want anything to ridiculously loud but still enough to feel outside of the car. I was thinking of getting a Power Acoustick IDQ12 but i have no idea as to what amp i should get.

Of course i'm open to suggestions, that's why i'm asking. So if anyone has any ideas or anything I would be greatful.

Well i'm looking for a little of both, but the bass doesn't need to be glass shatteringly loud or anything. Just something that can shake your pant legs while outside of the car

I would say kicker or alpine. Alpine is just quality all around. I have a kicker 600w and a 12 dual voice coil and it sounds awesome.

kickers sound great when they work, from my experience (rather my brother's experience) only 1 of 3 of his were of quality

you can get some kicker cvr's for around 250 a pair....they push 400 watts rms...strap em to a jbl 1200.1 amp...4 ohm...and set the gains to 800 watts of power...then you have 2 12" cvrs bumpin.....if you're car is old...make sure to have a capicitor which stores energy for each thump of basss....also look into speakers for the mid range...and tweeteres...for the highs...need help seioiusly pm me or email
