Deciding On Which In-Dash Screen to get

well i went to my local stereo shop yesterday and priced out some TV's. I am currently looking at the Alpine Unit, the 6.5inch Screen with the Indash brain OR the brand new kenwood unit with touch screen.

Prices

Alpine = around 900
Kenwood = $1300

which do you think i should get?

Well I have the CVA-1005, its awesome man. Can't complain. Screen quality is excellent and Alpine is the best brand in my opinion. Great quality with sound and the Ai-NET capability with an EQ is hot!!!!

I tell you I took it out of my car for now, and I miss it soo much, it has so many features and all that stuff that I took it for granted when it was in.

You won't be dissapointed when you get it. But it is some $$$

Well I use to have a Pioneer Unit in the civic last summer, and took it out and sold it cause im getting rid of the car and it was great even though it was an older unit. But I want the alpine because A. It has better screen resolution even though it is .5 inches smaller. B. it has a indash brain, which is convenient because installing the pioneer and the brain was SUCH A *****!

Actually the ALpine has a separate brain that hooks up to the screen, much like the pioneer I think. Its really not that difficult to hook up but it is separate.

Alpine just came out with a new cd changer that hooks up to the screen that play mp3 along with cd-r, and blah blah blah, but the nice thing about it is that it hooks up through Ai-Net and shows song titles and all that Jazz to the Screen, pretty nice stuff.

BTW they are right that is an EQ, ERA-G320
